Send auction paperwork for your booking
After booking auction vehicle transport, reply to the email confirming receipt of your booking and attach the requested auction documents.
Updated
Once you place your transport booking, you receive an email confirming that we have received it. Reply to that booking receipt email and attach the auction paperwork requested for your collection.
How to send your documents
- Find the email confirming receipt of your transport booking.
- Reply to that email, keeping the existing subject and booking details so your documents can be matched to the booking.
- Attach the requested paperwork and include any relevant auction lot or buyer reference. Check that the attachments are readable before sending.
Use the booking receipt email for these documents, rather than starting a new quote enquiry.
Which paperwork is needed?
Follow the instructions supplied for your booking and the auction house’s release requirements. Depending on the yard, the requested documents may include a paid invoice or collection authority, together with the buyer, sale or lot reference.
Requirements vary between auction houses. Send the documents requested for your particular collection, and reply to the same booking email if you are unsure what is needed.
The auction house must authorise release of the vehicle. Let us know in the email if payment clearance or release is still pending, or if there is a collection deadline. Follow your booking instructions for the collection arrangements.
Cannot find the booking receipt email?
Check your junk or spam folder. If you still cannot find it, contact Moving Cars with your booking reference, if available, and vehicle details so the team can help identify your booking and advise where to send the paperwork.
Not booked yet?
Start with the auction vehicle transport guide for quote details, vehicle condition and collection preparation. You can request a vehicle transport quote before arranging your booking.
