For Sydney–Melbourne, enclosed transport is available between Sydney depot and Melbourne depot in both directions. Any connecting address pickup or delivery outside that depot leg uses a standard carrier. Moving Cars can arrange those connections as part of the full journey; an address-to-address booking is not automatically enclosed for every leg.

Check access before nominating a residential address. Large transporters may be unable to enter narrow streets, low-clearance areas, underground parking, steep driveways or heavily restricted roads. Where necessary, the driver and collection contact can agree on a nearby safe meeting point.

Depot handover is normally cheaper where the quoted route offers a suitable depot. It also means arranging your own travel from the depot and meeting its release and opening-hour requirements. Door collection is more convenient but includes the local carrier leg.

Planning delivery in Melbourne

Give the Melbourne delivery contact the booking details and make sure they can answer the driver’s call. The final meeting point needs enough legal and safe access for the carrier. A nearby handover may be required when the nominated property cannot accommodate a large vehicle.
