Most vehicle quotes are instant; some enquiries take a few hours to assess. The options depend on the details supplied and the service available at the time.
Brisbane collection and delivery
Confirm whether the offer includes address service, a depot or an agreed meeting point. Large transporters need safe, legal access; narrow streets, low trees, steep driveways and limited turning room can affect the handover location.
Tell us about access constraints before booking. If the proposed service uses a meeting point, read the call-to-meet guide. Check opening hours and release requirements when using a depot.
Regional and remote Queensland
Use the actual town for journeys involving the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Toowoomba, Bundaberg, Mackay, Townsville, Cairns or another Queensland location. Collection arrangements, connecting legs and capacity can differ from metropolitan Brisbane.
Give a realistic collection window and explain any fixed deadline. Confirm availability for the specific locations; do not assume that every route offers every service or that a capital-city transit estimate includes regional legs.
Vehicle details and selected options
Provide the make and model, dimensions where requested, and operating condition. Declare modifications, low clearance, damage or a non-running vehicle so the required loading method can be assessed.
For enclosed transport, obtain a standard quote and reply requesting enclosed upgrade rates. If you want belongings to travel, select and book the Goods in Car option where offered, then follow the selected carrier’s allowance and packing rules. Our belongings guide explains the general process.
Timing, preparation and cover
Use the capital-city transit grid for broad estimates from collection or depot drop-off, and confirm the timing for your actual service. Regional and remote journeys need their own estimate. Some carriers provide online tracking and others do not; ask how progress updates will be supplied.
Follow the vehicle preparation checklist, including a quarter tank of fuel or a charged EV, subject to the carrier’s instructions. Have the keys, required release paperwork and handover contacts ready.
Cover, limits and exclusions vary by carrier and service. Read the terms supplied with the quote; we recommend suitable individual insurance and checking that it covers the planned transport.
