How to get a quote for a drivable vehicle

Get a quote for a drivable vehicle, compare available services and choose the Goods in Car option on your quote before booking.

Updated

Use the vehicle quote form to check transport options for your car and journey. Accurate locations and vehicle details help match the quote to the service you need.

Start a vehicle transport quote.

1. Have your journey and vehicle details ready

Provide the actual collection and delivery suburbs or towns, plus the vehicle’s make and model. Declare modifications that affect its dimensions or ground clearance, such as a roof rack, canopy, lifted suspension or body kit.

The vehicle should start reliably and be safe to drive for loading and unloading. Tell us about damage or operating problems before booking. If it cannot be driven, use the non-running vehicle guidance and have its condition assessed for a suitable service.

Know your preferred collection window and any fixed deadline. Explain timing requirements before accepting a quote; an estimated arrival is not a guaranteed appointment.

2. Review the available quotes

Most vehicle quotes are instant; some enquiries take a few hours to assess. Compare the total price, collection and delivery arrangements, estimated timing and service details.

Check whether an offer uses address service, depots or an agreed meeting point. Your collection and delivery contacts need to be able to meet the quoted handover arrangements. The cost guide explains what to compare.

3. Choose Goods in Car on your quote

Every available quote includes a Goods in Car option. If you want belongings to travel with the vehicle, select that option on the quote before booking. You do not need to make a separate request for it.

Check the allowance, packing instructions and restrictions for the selected service. Choosing the option does not mean unlimited belongings or identical rules across carriers. Read the Goods in Car guide for general preparation advice.

4. Confirm any specialist requirements

For enclosed transport, obtain a standard vehicle quote, then reply requesting enclosed upgrade rates. The initial standard quote does not confirm an enclosed booking. Our enclosed transport guide explains the current process.

Before booking, review the selected service’s requirements and supplied terms. Follow the vehicle preparation checklist alongside the carrier’s instructions.
