Confirm the depot for your booking
Depots are operated by the carriers used for the journey. Confirm the exact address, opening hours and handover instructions in your booking details before taking a vehicle there. A city name alone does not identify the depot that will handle your car.
Ask who needs to attend, what identification or release information is required, and when the vehicle can be dropped off or collected. Check any storage arrangements and charges if you cannot collect it when it becomes available.
Planning transport between cities and regional areas
Use the actual collection and delivery suburbs or towns and postcodes when requesting a quote. Do not enter a nearby capital city as a substitute for a rural property or another town; the provider needs the real locations to assess coverage and access.

Depot service or address service?
With depot service, consider how you will get to and from the nominated depot as well as the transport price. Check that its opening hours work for you and the person receiving the car.
For address collection or delivery, describe narrow streets, gates, low branches, restricted sites and limited loading space. Where a carrier cannot safely access an address, an alternative handover point needs to be agreed. Address service is not a promise that every property can be reached.

Operating schedules
Services generally operate five days a week in capital cities and several times per week in rural areas. Confirm the actual collection window and schedule for your route and service. Operating frequency does not guarantee a particular pickup or delivery date, or establish an individual depot’s opening hours.
Most quotes are instant, while some enquiries take a few hours. Vehicle condition, unusual access or a specialist transport requirement may need assessment before an option is confirmed.

Check the booking’s depot address and contact details, handover window, vehicle preparation requirements and receiving arrangements. If something differs from the general information on this website, contact us with your quote or booking reference before travelling.
